5 Habits to Increase your creativity. Even if you are not very creative.
1. Spend Time by Yourself
- Take some time by yourself without distractions. This quiet time lets your mind wander and come up with new ideas without outside influences.
- Being alone gives your brain a chance to think of new things without interruptions.
2. Create Everyday
- Make a habit of doing something creative every day, like drawing, writing, or playing music. The more you practice, the better you get, and the more creative ideas you’ll have.
- Do something creative daily to get better at it and have more ideas. It does not have to be a long time. Even 15 minutes a day will work wonders.
3. Create an Inspiring Space
- Work in a place that makes you feel motivated and happy. This could be a tidy desk, a colorful room, or a spot in nature. The right environment can spark creativity.
- Work where you feel inspired because it helps you come up with great ideas.
4. Get Organized and Stay Organized
- Keep your workspace and tools tidy. When everything is in its place, you spend less time looking for things and more time being creative.
- Keep your stuff neat and orderly so you can focus better on being creative. Make a box or a shelf or even prep one tote bag so your supplies are always on the ready.
5. Start a Creativity Journal
- Keep a notebook or digital journal where you write down your ideas, sketches, or thoughts every day. This helps you keep track of your creative ideas and can inspire new ones.
- Write down your ideas and thoughts in a journal to remember them and spark new creativity. Often, I even text myself with new ideas.
