5 Habits to Increase Creativity

5 Habits to Increase Creativity

5 Habits to Increase your creativity. Even if you are not very creative.

1. Spend Time by Yourself

  • Take some time by yourself without distractions. This quiet time lets your mind wander and come up with new ideas without outside influences.
  •  Being alone gives your brain a chance to think of new things without interruptions.

2. Create Everyday

  •  Make a habit of doing something creative every day, like drawing, writing, or playing music. The more you practice, the better you get, and the more creative ideas you’ll have.
  • Do something creative daily to get better at it and have more ideas. It does not have to be a long time. Even 15 minutes a day will work wonders.

3.  Create an Inspiring Space

  • Work in a place that makes you feel motivated and happy. This could be a tidy desk, a colorful room, or a spot in nature. The right environment can spark creativity.
  • Work where you feel inspired because it helps you come up with great ideas.

4. Get Organized and Stay Organized

  • Keep your workspace and tools tidy. When everything is in its place, you spend less time looking for things and more time being creative.
  • Keep your stuff neat and orderly so you can focus better on being creative. Make a box or a shelf or even prep one tote bag so your supplies are always on the ready.

5. Start a Creativity Journal

  • Keep a notebook or digital journal where you write down your ideas, sketches, or thoughts every day. This helps you keep track of your creative ideas and can inspire new ones.
  • Write down your ideas and thoughts in a journal to remember them and spark new creativity. Often, I even text myself with new ideas.
