About Me

Welcome to Teresa’s Spot for All Things Art

I’m so happy you’re here. This is a creative space built to help you slow down, create, and find a little joy in your day.

Today, my focus is on digital kits, printables, shipped art kits, and step-by-step YouTube tutorials—making it easy for you to create wherever you are, whenever you need a moment for yourself.

In 2016, I suffered a major loss. My sister was stolen away by a fatal disease, CJD, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease). During that time, art became my therapy. It helped me process, cope, and find moments of peace.

Because of that experience, my mission is simple:
to help others find joy through art—especially during life’s hardest seasons.

I am a Certified One Stroke Decorative Painter and have been painting for over 15 years. As a decorative artist, I guide empty nesters, women in a season of change, and those navigating grief or overwhelm to find calm, confidence, and self-care through simple, doable art projects.

I believe art doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

I share creativity in many ways, including:

  • Digital printable kits & junk journal pages
  • Shipped art kits delivered right to your door
  • Paper craft and journaling kits
  • Printables
  • YouTube tutorials with easy, step-by-step instruction

Everything I create is designed to help you start where you are, with what you have—no pressure, no perfection required.

I started Teresa’s Silhouette Spot in 2018 as part of my own healing journey. What began as therapy turned into something much bigger—
a way to share art from my heart and help others experience that same sense of peace.

Maybe creating will help you too.
And if not? That’s okay. I’m just grateful to share this space with you and give you the opportunity to create something beautiful for yourself or someone you love.

Whether you're crafting at your kitchen table, printing out a journal page, or following along on YouTube, my hope is that you leave with more than just a project.

I hope you leave with joy.

I’ve lived my entire life on Long Island, New York. I have two girls, 32 and 30. I tell my husband he is the perfect husband for me—mostly because of his carrot cake.

The three of them are incredibly supportive of this journey, and I’m so grateful for that.

I’m slightly (okay… heavily) addicted to iced coffee and audiobooks, and I love the beach. I still try to spend as much time there as possible.

Thank you so much for being here.
I’m truly so happy you found your way to my little corner of the world.

I can’t wait to continue sharing art from my heart with you.
