A Heartfelt Thanksgiving Thank-You from My Creative Corner
Hey friends — it’s Teresa, popping in with a whole lotta gratitude and probably way too much iced coffee. It’s Thanksgiving week, and before things get wild with mashed potatoes, family stories we definitely didn’t ask for, and at least one burnt sweet potatoe casserole(not pointing fingers… but you know), I wanted to take a moment to say something important:
Thank you. Really. Truly. From my art-covered, paint-splattered heart — thank you.
This year has been filled with so many moments that have left me speechless (and yes, I know I talk a lot). Every YouTube view, every “like,” every shared post, every pin on Pinterest, every blog read, every comment, every download, every kit purchased — it ALL matters. It all adds up. And it all helps me keep doing what I love most: helping people create, breathe, relax, and bring a little joy into their world.
You’re the reason this little creative corner exists
When you watch my videos — even the ones where my hair does its own thing — you’re supporting my dream.
When you pin my blog posts or share something with a friend, you’re helping my tiny art universe grow.
When you download a freebie, you’re saying, “Yes Teresa, I do need more pretty things in my life.” And honestly? Same.
And when you purchase one of my kits… well, that still blows me away. Every single time. I don’t take any of it for granted. I see every order come in, and I literally smile like a kid who just found art supplies they forgot they owned.
This community is everything
You all show up with kindness, curiosity, encouragement, and a whole lotta heart. Whether you're crafting with your grandkids, painting for the first time in decades, or dipping your toes into junk journaling or mixed media — I love being a small part of your creative journey.
It’s wild. It’s beautiful. And it’s the reason I keep showing up with more tutorials, more kits, more ideas, and probably way too many seasonal projects. (I contain multitudes… mostly glue sticks and acrylic paint.)
So as Thanksgiving rolls in…
I’m sending each of you a huge virtual hug — the good kind, not the awkward side-hug where you pat someone’s back like they’re a houseplant.
I hope this season brings you joy, rest, and at least one moment that makes your heart feel full. And if things get a little chaotic (because… holidays), I hope you can carve out a tiny sliver of time just for YOU. Create something. Doodle. Paint. Glue random paper scraps into a journal. Make something messy and magical.
You deserve that joy.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being you.
And thank you for making this creative life of mine possible. I am so grateful for every one of you.
Wishing you a warm, peaceful, creative Thanksgiving,
Teresa
