Yes- I think art CAN reduce anxiety. Art has reduced my anxiety and depression. According to a study by Johns Hopkins, 1 in 4 adults will be diagnosed with mental illness a year. 
Art can definitely have a positive impact on Mental health. Art can contribute to feelings of happiness or contentment.
